Social media personality VeryDarkMan (VDM) has reacted to a petition filed by actress Iyabo Ojo against CP Uche Ifeanyi Henry, the Director of the Nigeria Police Cybercrime Unit. In her petition to the National Security Adviser, Iyabo Ojo alleged that CP Uche allowed VDM access to her interrogation room without consent.
VDM, however, has strongly denied the accusation, referring to the petition as nothing more than "suya paper"—a Nigerian slang for something unserious or worthless. He clarified that he was never present in the interrogation room and only met Iyabo Ojo in a general conference setting that also involved Naira Marley.

He further claimed that Iyabo’s legal efforts were not going as planned, which may have prompted the petition. According to VDM, there had been discussions about a public apology and media strategy that ultimately fell through.

Actress Doris Ogala also weighed in on the situation, defending CP Uche and suggesting that Iyabo’s actions might be driven by frustration. She confirmed that CP Uche had previously detained VDM due to his controversial online statements but denied any misconduct in his handling of the interrogation process.
